Bio-Energy Conversion (BEC) was formed as a North Carolina Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) in February 2004 to explore the manufacturing of bio-energy products.
BEC’s technology, a unique
application of heat exchange coupled with state
of the art process control, allows the conversion
of organic or synthetic matter into an activated
carbon product and a medium Btu “Bio-Gas”
Most importantly, the technology eliminates the
issue of emissions that plague both “Waste
to Energy” (WTE) and “Coal to Energy”
industry to date. The manufacturing process
creates an activated carbon byproduct.
The BEC Process is an economically viable and ecologically
correct alternative to existing coal to energy production
facilities (i.e., “Clean Coal Technology”).
The process is also applicable to the use of alternate
organic materials as feedstock. After the
first manufacturing facility for processing coal
to activated carbon is constructed, the future use
of the BEC technology will be primarily in processing
of waste materials such as garbage, medical and
hazardous wastes.
The BEC process will literally change the way all
waste, organic or synthetic is handled. The
BEC process will accept any material that is organic
or synthetic in nature, including municipal solid
waste (MSW), sewer sludge, tires, hazardous waste,
animal waste, etc. |
